Work in Progress

This is the image I started in The Illusionism class this spring. I haven't worked on it at all since then, and I thought it would be interesting to post it periodically for comments as it develops. Obviously there's not much here yet, but if it prompts any responses, I'd love to hear them. Look in on the blog over the summer and see what develops.

It reminds me of the analogy you used about ripples in a swimming pool and your "one mind" theory.

How a person can be swimming through a pool and even though his physical body has not passed through the water ahead of him yet, it is still effected by the intent of his actions to head in that direction. Droplets of water maybe thrown forward by his splashing arms causing ripples in the still water ahead.

Sort of like how people may sense each others vibrations or intent even before contact is made, saying things like "How funny.. I was just thinking about you!"

I don't know if I explained that as eloquently as Susan, but I gave it a shot! :-)

I love that comment. I'm trying hard to find images to indicate the levels of being beyond physical manifestation. Liz made a comment about a breakdown in positive and negative space. It seems to me there is a dimension where distinctions between things disappear- a dimension of consciousness and intelligence that is part of what we think even though we're not consciously aware of it. Images are so much better for trying to comprehend things like that.
